Your designs showcased to the world

As an exclusive member of Cityblis, designers receive invitations to fashion events, trade shows and access to international buyers and procurement houses. Through our partners we are able to publish stories across social networks and fashion magazines around the world.

There are no costs, commissions or fees involved in joining Cityblis. Designers are only allowed to join Cityblis by invitation or recommendation. Before granting membership access, every new designer is screened to ensure Cityblis quality standards.

Born and bought up in England, Amelia Powers is uniquely inspired by both vintage style and her rare spiritual gift. The bespoke couture collection boasts seamless pieces with materials and skins of the finest quality, these are blessed with respectful intent by this unique and elegant designer.

Amelia Powers is known as an expert on the history of costume, a collector of ladies vintage clothing and accessories and, most uniquely, as a spiritual healer. Her Shamanistic training greatly influences the process used and the way a design is conceived.

The collection reflects a designer who is dedicated to the craft of creating couture. Having studied art & textiles including pattern cutting, the nuances of each piece in the collection display an ardent respect for master craftsmanship and artisan touches. The direction of skins used reflect a love for old fashioned design, and with all bags having a goat suede lining, appeals to a more delicate and luxurious taste in accessories. Powers is aspiring to create the world’s most luxurious, sought-after handbag to rival international brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Hermes.

About Amelia Powers

Amelia Powers spent 10 years as a private vintage clothes dealer starting out with a stall on Portobello selling to designers such as Sass and Bide, New Look and Gucci. "After a time I had a loyal customer base and created a private vintage shopping service specializing in dressing my clients in one-off exquisite pieces. I had, over time, built up a collection of rare vintage bags and could not ignore the requests I was getting for them. This inspired me to specialise not only in selling handbags but designing and making my own collection; my next step was to study handbag cutting with a master craftsman."

Amelia Powers first collection is inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood, using original techniques and craftsmanship from a bygone era and specialising in structured bags and framed evening clutches. For this collection, each bag is lined with sumptuous coloured goat suedes to compliment exotic skins and calf leathers.

Amelia Powers is a super luxury British-made brand. All the bags are handcrafted and made to order in London. Our clients are as unique as the bags. As well as the collection, we offer a bespoke service to make any bag to the customer's own specifications and tastes. "If you would like it in a particular skin, lining colour, or finish of your choice, we will make it."
